SUMMARY
The warehouse associate/stock clerk will utilize order picking documents to fulfill orders for a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions. To ensure success in this position you will need to perform to a high level of accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized.
- Pulls and packs products based on customer orders.
- Fulfills customer orders in a timely manner.
- Keeps goods stored safely in an organized manner.
- Checks products for any damage, reporting problems to management.
- Confirms correct quantities and verifies product accuracy using visual masters or part prints.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Follows good safety practices and work safe practices.
- Reads, understands, and complies with Quality and Environmental policies.
- Completes work instruction paperwork as required to accurately account for material and time usage.
- Accurately logs into and out of operating system via handheld devices or terminals based upon function being performed.
- Familiarity with computers, printers, and hand-held scanning devices.
- Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders, and signing pick tickets to confirm.
- Ability to work independently.
- Use of simple hand tools, pallet jacks, scales, carts, calculators, portable stairways, etc.
- Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED certificate preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert all units of measure.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply good judgment to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to pass a visual acuity check.
