Stocker / Receiving / Freight Associate

Description

A Stocker performs general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking product.

Requirements

Essential functions

• •Load product for customers
• •Move, handle, and transport product, or supplies
• •Operate tools and equipment safely
• •Perform general stocking duties
• •Perform general cleaning duties
• •Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
• •Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
• •Greet and talk politely with customers
• •Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
• •Function as a team member and get along with others
• •Adhere to daily work schedule
• •Work weekends, any shift, holidays and overtime as needed
• •Work in a fast-paced environment
• •Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Physical requirements

• •Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,
• •Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 60lbs
• •Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet entire shift
• •Push/pull a heavy loaded pallet with manual pallet jack
• •Push/pull a loaded stock cart
• •Operate heavy equipment; Forklifts, baler, etc. (will train)

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred

Age requirement

Minimum age 18
