In this varied role, you will help create a positive student experience by providing friendly, accurate and informative advice to students and staff, completing a broad range of student and academic administration activities, and resolving day-to-day enquiries with care and sound judgement.

This role provides the opportunity to enjoy more of what matters outside work while building a rewarding career at UQ Gatton, where a unique blend of rural lifestyle, supportive community and world-class education and research facilities creates an exceptional place to live and work. • Processing a broad range of student administration activities including admissions, progression, examinations, enrolments, study abroad matters and other academic administration functions.
  • Supporting academic administration activities including course profile updates, timetabling, examination preparation, grade processing and system maintenance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing procedures, maintaining data integrity and supporting the accuracy of information across University systems, websites and publications.

About You

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
  • Experience in administration, with the ability to quickly develop knowledge of student and academic administration processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across a large organisation.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

Experience in a tertiary education environment and knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and student administration systems would be desirable.
