How you’ll make an impact

Gain hands-on experience gathering, structuring and cleansing data, creating reports and providing recommendations that inform business decisions.

As a Student, Treasury Reporting Analyst, you’ll be part of the Treasury team, working under the mentorship of experienced analysts to assess data quality, support key Treasury processes and use analytical tools to help guide informed decision-making.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented student who enjoys working with data, reports and financial information – someone who’s an analytical thinker that can transform data into usable information, communicate clearly and work independently with defined procedures.

If you’re a driven self-starter with an eye for detail, a passion for learning and an interest in finance or accounting, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll do

Perform cash management functions

Obtain and report on market data

Perform tests on process and system controls

Prepare monthly and ad hoc Treasury reports

Perform daily data validation and monthly reconciliations

Complete special Treasury projects to add value to existing processes

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business administration, finance, accounting, commerce, economics or a related field

Strong drive to learn and succeed

Ability to work independently when given defined procedures

Analytical thinking skills and the ability to transform data into usable information

Strong communication skills, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand

An eye for detail and accuracy

Preferred qualifications:

Interest in Treasury, financial markets, cash management or corporate finance

Previous experience preparing reports, reconciling information or working with financial data

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other analytical/reporting tools

Experience working with data analysis, reporting or data validation

Strong understanding of finance, accounting, economics or data analytics concepts

Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
