Summer 2027 Intern - Collaboration and Communication Technology

• The Collaboration and Communication Technology team supports and manages the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, faxing solutions, and emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot.
• As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day operations through reporting, user provisioning, basic scripting (preferably Python), and other entry-level administrative tasks. This role is ideal for students with an IT background and an interest in infrastructure technologies, networking, and AI.

Primary Accountabilities • Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives. • Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures within collaboration technologies. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations. • Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management. • May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles. • Presents project results to management and/or department personnel. • Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area. • Other duties as assigned. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service. • Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program. • Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.
