Supervising Social Worker - Long Term

• Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our client’s Long-Term Team in Newcastle.

In this role, you’ll manage a small caseload, meet statutory responsibilities, and work collaboratively with carers and professionals in a supportive environment. The position offers flexible working arrangements and regular supervision to support your professional development.

What will your responsibilities be?

Provide supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.

Undertake assessments, reviews, and care planning for children in foster placements.

Deliver statutory social work services in line with legislation and council procedures.

Liaise with partner agencies to coordinate support for children and carers.

Maintain accurate case records and reports to professional standards.

Participate in reflective supervision and contribute to service development.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Full UK driving licence

Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)

Post-qualified experience in fostering or children’s services
