Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain DoD Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Duties

• •You will provide technical unaccompanied housing expertise to the DPW Housing Chief, installation leadership, and military units in support of Army Barracks Management Program requirements.
• •You will manage the installation Unaccompanied Housing Program, including occupancy and utilization, assignments, maintenance, furnishings, data management, and day-to-day program execution.
• •You will oversee Army Barracks Management Program compliance, internal controls, reporting, and unit barracks management activities to ensure effective housing operations.
• •You will direct inspections, assessments, and program reviews to evaluate barracks conditions, maintenance performance, utilization, and long-range sustainment requirements.
• •You will provide oversight of housing contracts and resources, including Contracting Officer’s Representative duties when appointed, to ensure services meet mission and program requirements.
• •You will direct the work of unaccompanied housing and furnishings management employees, establish priorities, evaluate performance, provide training, and ensure continuity of housing operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a family housing program including a full range of housing activities such as operations and maintenance, financial management, assignment utilization, construction and improvements, management-tenant and community relations, referral services, furnishing and equipment management, military residential community initiatives, and privatized housing and lodging. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
