Supplier Manufacturing Manager – Energy Storage Skids

ON.energy is setting the standard for large load interconnection. ON’s patented AI UPS™ is a medium-voltage UPS that serves as a firewall, protecting the data center from the grid, and the grid from the data center. With multiple gigawatts currently under construction, we are enabling grid-safe data centers.

About the role:

ON.energy designs, manufactures, and deploys Uninterrupted Power Supply systems for data centers and critical infrastructure across the Americas. We're growing U.S. manufacturing, including skid production, to keep up with demand.

We're hiring a Supplier Manufacturing Manager to own the production of UPS skids and execution of orders — schedule, quality, traceability, and delivery. Based full-time in the Dallas manufacturing facility, this role is on the floor as much as it's in planning meetings, and requires up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities

• •Own execution of skid programs end-to-end: schedule, quality, traceability, and delivery
• •Make real-time calls on the floor to keep production and manufacturing processes flowing managing order priorities and allocations
• •Own relationship with manufacturing partners
• •Troubleshoot build issues with manufacturing, quality, and engineering, project management, procurement, and logistics
• •Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and inventory for high-volume builds
• •Track and report execution KPIs (cost, lead time, on-time delivery, supplier performance) to leadership

Requirements

• •7+ years in program/project management, procurement, or operations in a manufacturing environment
• •Strong manufacturing know-how and process orientation
• •Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable making fast decisions under pressure
• •Solid logistics, inventory, and supplier management experience
• •Advanced Excel skills
• •Based in Dallas, TX; travel up to 75%

Preferred

• •Experience manufacturing electrical equipment skids (BESS, switchgear, e-houses)
• •Background in high-volume manufacturing
• •Experience in energy storage or power electronics
• •ERP/MRP experience
