Supply Clerk

Description

Receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies and equipment. Takes inventories and compiles stock records in storeroom and various patient care areas. Performs daily duties within the Materials Management system. Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy with little supervision, multitasks effectively in a fast paced environment. A team-player attitude is a must, as you communicate and work with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers. Excellent organizational and communication skills needed. Responsible of accomplishing work properly in the least amount of time. Work hours are from 6:30-3:30 Monday thru Friday with 1 hour lunch break. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Must be courteous, cooperative and congenial at all times, inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Required to wear name badge, appropriate dress and be neat and clean. Must possess a current valid driver’s license. Maintains and carries out all LCMC policies and procedures.

Requirements

• •Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• •Often walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• •Kneels and crouches in performing duties.
• •High level of constant interruptions.
• •Manual dexterity to move boxes, packages and other items in a rapid and skillful manner.
• •Use of 8-foot staircase ladder for top shelf in storeroom that is 12 feet high.
• •Operate a forklift to move freight.
