Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience / Licensure

Certified Surgical Technologists encouraged to apply

Non-certified candidates with acceptable surgical technology experience may be considered

Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) required
