Using their essential experience within electrical & auto systems, the role holder shall provide all the necessary inputs needed to ensure the proper execution of the project in the correct construction. Working with numerous teams, the role holder will undertake daily inspections of the vessel ensuring that the Manager is kept up to date with the projects progress. They will work closely with the operating company team during both the inspection and commissioning period, ensuring that all contractual, and technical, specifications are met.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf in accordance with the shipyard schedule
- Follow up open items from the construction process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office and production teams for defects and remarks discussion and resolution
- Report to the Manager, Electrical & Auto System with reference to the progress of the production, the status of the open items and potential main open issues
- Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during the inspection and commissioning period
- Take part in the sea trials
- Support the operating company after the Vessel delivery to follow up open items coming from the construction and commissioning period and/or to complete part of the commissioning after delivery
- Support the Electrical & Auto System team for specific topics relevant to the Vessel project development
- Participate in FAT on Owner’s behalf
- Patrolling activities
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE:
High School Diploma
FIELD(S) OF STUDY:
Maritime
EXPERIENCE
2 years within a similar role.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- Confident using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above)
- Demonstratable Team Working Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Technical Proficiency within Electrical & Auto System
- Ability to Manage and Build Relationships
- Time Management
