We are seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead product lifecycle management, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering change management activities across our Medical Division product portfolio.

This role is critical to ensuring our products continue to meet customer, quality, and business expectations throughout their lifecycle. The Sustaining Engineering Manager will drive product and process improvements, lead engineering change activities, develop engineering talent, and partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business results.

You will:

• •Lead sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management efforts.
• •Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• •Develop engineering talent and technical capabilities.
• •Manage engineering change control and project execution.
• •Partner with customers to deliver innovative solutions.

What You'll Do.

Lead & Develop Talent

• •Lead, coach, and develop the Sustaining Engineering team.
• •Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
• •Preserve technical knowledge through standards, guides, and best practices.

Drive Product & Process Improvements

• •Lead product and process enhancement projects across the portfolio.
• •Support design transfers, product modifications, testing, and implementation.
• •Provide technical support for manufacturing and operations.

Manage Projects & Change Control

• •Own the engineering change control process.
• •Manage sustaining engineering project priorities, timelines, and resources.
• •Ensure projects meet customer, quality, and business requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Customer Partnership

• •Drive cost savings and operational improvements using ITW Toolbox principles.
• •Partner with customers and suppliers to identify improvement opportunities.
• •Translate customer needs into technical solutions and business value.

Quality & Compliance

• •Support CAPAs, complaint investigations, and risk management activities.
• •Ensure compliance with engineering, quality, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring.

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• •5+ years of engineering experience.
• •Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments; medical device experience strongly preferred.
• •Knowledge of plastic part design, manufacturing, and injection molding preferred.
• •Experience with engineering analysis tools such as CFD, FEA, and 3D modeling.
• •SolidWorks experience preferred.
• •Strong project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• •Ability to influence stakeholders and drive business results.

Compensation Information:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.

Pay Range: $120,000-155,000 annualized salary, this position can also qualify for a variable annual bonus.

Vacation - up to 120 hours within first year

Sick - up to 40 hours of time within first year

Floating Holiday - up to 8 hours of time within first year

Holiday - 10 paid holidays per year, these holidays are selected by the Division
