How your future with us will take shape You develop electric drive systems at overall product level and shape the interaction between the electric motor, inverter, transmission, and other components. You analyze customer requirements, derive system requirements, and ensure their consistent allocation across the relevant subsystems. You assess system architectures and technical concepts in terms of performance, efficiency, cost, packaging, thermal behavior, NVH, service life, and safety. You coordinate mechanical, electrical, and functional interfaces and support the integration of the subsystems into the complete eDrive system. You develop alternative technical solutions, conduct system-level trade-off assessments, and prepare well-founded concept decisions. You coordinate technical collaboration with internal specialist departments, customers, suppliers, and development partners. You support acquisition activities, root-cause analyses, verification and validation, as well as the development of methods and competencies in eDrive system development. What you bring to build a future with us Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field. Experience in developing complex technical systems, components, or functions, ideally in automotive powertrains or electromobility. Broad technical understanding and the ability to identify, structure, and assess interactions across disciplinary boundaries. Knowledge of or practical experience in transmission development or transmission design is desirable. A structured, analytical, and independent approach to work, combined with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Confident communication across different technical disciplines and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
