Systems Engineer

• Key Responsibilities :
• •Work in a 24×7 rotating-shift environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support our IT infrastructure.
• •Basic understanding of alert severity, escalation paths, response targets, shift handoffs, maintenance windows, and major-incident communications.
• •Review infrastructure metrics, logs, and alerts for availability, performance, capacity, connectivity, service failures, and resource health.
• •Ensure 99.99% or greater infrastructure availability through proactive monitoring, maintenance coordination, operational controls, and disciplined incident management.
• •Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for common software, operating system, account access, and connectivity issues.
• •Perform first-level troubleshooting and approved basic remediation, such as service checks, connectivity tests, log review, process validation, and runbook-based restart or recovery steps.
• •Create and update incident or event tickets with accurate timestamps, affected services, symptoms, actions taken, evidence, ownership, and status.
• •Escalate unresolved or high-impact events to the appropriate team within defined response targets.
• •Track open events and incidents through closure, follow up with resolver teams, validate service recovery, and confirm monitoring has returned to a normal state.

• Required Qualifications
• •Two to four years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, Cloud administrations.
• •Foundational understanding of server, storage, network, application, and cloud infrastructure.
• •Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud concepts, core services, identity and access, networking, storage, compute, monitoring, and security.
• •Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring dashboards, alerting tools, logs, service health, ticketing systems, runbooks, and basic event and incident management practices.
• •Basic understanding of alert severity, escalation paths, response targets, shift handoffs, maintenance windows, and major-incident communications.
