At Gearset, our success is built on an unwavering commitment to our people. We believe that hiring exceptional talent and fostering an inclusive, high-trust culture is the foundation for solving complex enterprise challenges and sustaining our industry-leading growth.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner on a 12 month fixed-term contract, to join our team in Cambridge. In this role, you will embed directly within key business functions - building strategic partnerships with hiring managers, driving data-informed recruitment strategies across the UK and US markets, and taking true ownership of scaling our high-performing global teams.

What’s the opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner at Gearset?

Take ownership of full 360 recruitment strategies across the UK and US, driving cross-functional growth across technical and commercial business areas.

Embed deeply within internal teams as a trusted advisor, partnering directly with hiring managers to understand their underlying talent needs and solve hiring challenges.

Champion a proactive, data-driven approach to recruitment, using market insights and pipeline analytics to optimise hiring SLAs and continuously refine our processes.

Deliver high strategic impact within a rapidly growing, award-winning scale-up that prioritises an exceptional candidate experience, high hiring standards, and meaningful autonomy.

What you’ll achieve

Proactively source, headhunt, and build robust talent pools for complex and hard-to-fill roles across multiple international markets.

Own the candidate journey end-to-end, acting as a Gearset brand ambassador to deliver a personalised, engaging, and high-touch hiring experience.

Analyse and report on recruitment metrics and candidate feedback to identify process improvements and maintain pipeline efficiency.

Coach and up-skill hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate assessment, and best recruitment practices to uphold our high hiring bar.

Collaborate closely with the wider People team and internal stakeholders to drive proactive talent acquisition initiatives aligned with long-term company goals.

Leverage our ATS, Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter to drive active talent sourcing, employer branding, and candidate engagement strategies.

About you

Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment within a fast-paced technology or B2B SaaS environment, with strong direct sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter.

Demonstrated ability to build trust-based partnerships with hiring managers and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Analytical mindset with experience interpreting recruitment metrics to guide decision-making and improve pipeline efficiency.

Proactive, candidate-first approach, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills that simplify complex information and build authentic relationships.

Collaborative and adaptable working style, with the initiative to tackle challenging roles and navigate shifting hiring priorities in a growing company.
