We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment processes for assigned positions within Jumia countries ensuring the attraction and selection of qualified candidates to meet business needs while providing an excellent candidate experience.

What You Will Be Doing:

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline

Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks

Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and high-volume roles

Develop relationships with universities and professional associations for entry-level hiring

Identify and engage passive candidates for specialized positions

Track sourcing effectiveness and adjust strategies based on results

Recruitment Execution

Execute full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions using Jumia's recruitment system (Greenhouse)

Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate assessment processes

Manage candidate communications and provide regular updates to hiring managers

Coordinate interview logistics and participate in candidate selection discussions

Prepare and extend offer letters in collaboration with HR Operations

Support onboarding coordination for new hires

Recruitment Analytics

Maintain accurate records in Greenhouse for all recruitment activities

Track key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates)

Prepare regular recruitment status reports for country leadership

Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and propose solutions

Employer Branding

Support employer branding initiatives at the country level

Represent Jumia at career fairs and recruitment events

Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Contribute content for careers page and social media related to local hiring

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their talent needs

Educate hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and selection criteria

Provide market insights on talent availability and compensation trends

Collaborate with Head of HRs & HR Business Partners on workforce planning and talent needs

What we are looking for:

3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or a related HR role.

Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.

Experience managing multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment and in different Market.

Good knowledge of candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, and selection techniques.

Experience using ATS/recruitment systems; Greenhouse experience is an advantage.

Strong sourcing skills across job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and professional networks.

Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines for critical and high-volume positions.

Creative approach to sourcing and attracting diverse talent.
