The United States Space Force (USSF) at MOD Oakhanger, Bordon, UK is searching for a TCS Oakhanger Site Director to support the 22 SOPS (NH-0301-03, GS 12/13 equivalent). Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and impactful: Lead the Mission: You will provide the vision and strategic direction for all site operations, ensuring your team and partners are aligned to achieve excellence in a high-stakes environment. Drive Technical Excellence: You'll oversee sophisticated satellite and communications systems, guiding modernization efforts and resolving complex operational challenges to keep our capabilities at the cutting edge. Build Global Partnerships: Act as the primary U.S. representative on-site, fostering strong relationships with our UK counterparts, managing international agreements, and ensuring seamless collaboration. Ensure Performance: You will manage and evaluate the performance of key contracts, guaranteeing that our partners meet rigorous standards and deliver on critical mission objectives. Shape the Future: You'll be a key voice in strategic planning, from developing long-range budgets to advising senior leadership on the future of space operations. Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a visionary leader and strategic thinker to join us as a Site Director for a uniqe Satellite Control Network site in Oakhanger, UK. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technical operations management, program leadership, and stakeholder relations, preferably within a complex, technology-focused environment like telecommunications, aerospace, or a related industry. Candidate should be a natural problem-solver, adept at navigating both technical challenges and intricate organizational landscapes. Your experience demonstrates a strong ability to manage contracts, oversee budgets, and lead multi-disciplinary teams, including contractors and international partners. Should possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of building coalitions, negotiating agreements, and providing executive-level counsel. A degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, so U.S. citizenship is required. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Broad knowledge of Department of Defense, Defense Information Systems Agency, Air Force and Space Force instructions, policies, and procedures relating to operations, maintenance, and management of operational systems. Also extensive knowledge of SCN operations and broad knowledge of space enterprise operations to include Satellite C2 and technical communications control standards. 2. Knowledge of acquisition planning and contracting methodologies sufficient to provide a critical analysis with a recommended course of action on a wide variety of contractual matters. 3. Ability to collaborate at appropriate levels with organizations both inside and outside Delta, FIELDCOM, Air Force/Space Force, DoD and its agencies, the Federal Government, and international partners. 4. Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations and procedures in a variety of situations and recommend timely and economical solutions. 5. Ability to encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human, financial and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals. 6. Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations, work toward an agreement, and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions. 7. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 8. Ability to organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes. 9.
