Teamlead Software Development (m/f/d)

• Your mission
• •You lead a cross-functional team of 4-6 software developers and ensure their further development, both disciplinary and technical
• •You and your team contribute to the further development of several core parts of our software. Depending on the situation, you will take on different roles: coach, motivator or sparring partner
• •You are still hands-on yourself and actively develop and contribute to high quality through code reviews
• •Be the coach of the team members, run 1:1s and feedback discussions
• •Support the personal and career development of individual developers
• •Support team culture and bonding via team events and other measures
• •Hire new team members and align the needs of your team with the engineering manager

• Your profile
• •Profound engineering experience
• •University degree in computer science, engineering or similar
• •5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python, C++/Rust is a plus
• •You already have experience in managing/leading a team incl. hiring, 1:1s, giving feedback, building teams, delivering quality code on time
• •You still like to develop code but want to have a bigger impact beyond that by shaping your team.
• •You see yourself accountable for the results of your team
• •You have positive energy and are a motivating spirit
• •You thrive in international environments and are fluent in English. Fluency in German is a strong plus
• •You have a product-oriented mindset, want to build a great product for our users
• •To fit in our remote culture, you have strong writing skills and are able to organize work in an asynchronous fashion
