We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with strong experience in software engineering, application integration, and enterprise solution development. The role is suited for an engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, integrating applications and data, and solving complex technical challenges across modern enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms, microservices, SQL, and distributed systems , along with a strong understanding of application integration and enterprise technology.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise software applications.
• •Build backend services and enterprise applications using Java and related technologies .
• •Develop and integrate secure, reliable, and scalable REST APIs .
• •Design and implement application and data integration solutions across enterprise systems.
• •Develop event-driven applications and integrations using Kafka or similar messaging technologies .
• •Contribute to microservices architecture and distributed application design.
• •Work with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP cloud platforms to develop and deploy enterprise solutions.
• •Design and optimise SQL queries and support data processing across enterprise applications.
• •Contribute to system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance optimisation.
• •Work with enterprise integration frameworks and modern application integration patterns.
• •Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• •Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• •Develop unit and integration tests to maintain software quality and reliability.
• •Follow secure software development practices and consider security, networking, and SaaS architecture requirements.
• •Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
• •Support deployment, monitoring, production releases, and ongoing application improvements.
• •Contribute to technical documentation and continuously improve engineering and integration processes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• •3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application integration, enterprise software, or solution development.
• •Strong hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development .
• •Proven experience developing and integrating REST APIs .
• •Experience with Kafka, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures .
• •Strong understanding of application and data integration patterns.
• •Experience working with microservices and distributed systems .
• •Hands-on exposure to Azure, AWS, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• •Good knowledge of SQL, data processing, and database concepts .
• •Familiarity with enterprise integration frameworks and scalable application architectures.
• •Basic understanding of application security, networking, and SaaS architecture .
• •Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• •Ability to work effectively in product engineering, fintech, banking, enterprise software, or technology consulting environments.
• •Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• •Ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• •Exposure to banking or core banking platforms would be an advantage.
