Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Technical Developer with 4–7 years of experience to design, develop, test, deploy, and support technology solutions. The role will work with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements, prepare technical specifications, develop software, and contribute to code quality and maintainability.

The position supports business objectives by delivering reliable software solutions, applying Agile and SDLC practices, resolving technical issues, and evaluating opportunities to use mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain technologies.

Software Requirements

Required

Strong technical understanding of at least one of the following technology platforms: mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain.

Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

Experience with Agile and Scrum development practices.

Experience using Git, JIRA, and Confluence in software development projects.

Ability to write, test, deploy, and support software solutions.

Experience preparing technical specifications and detailed documentation for new features and enhancements.

Experience participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Experience collaborating with testing teams to validate software solutions against quality standards.

Ability to provide technical support to team members and contribute to the resolution of technical issues.

Preferred

Experience working with more than one of the following technology areas: mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain.

Experience with current, project-supported versions of Java, Python, or Node.js.

Familiarity with automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment practices.

Experience working with technology trends and assessing their applicability to existing solutions.

Overall Responsibilities

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

Develop technical specifications, design details, and comprehensive documentation for new features and enhancements.

Write, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions in accordance with approved requirements and development practices.

Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements and suggest ways to incorporate relevant technologies into existing solutions.

Conduct code reviews to support code quality, maintainability, consistency, and alignment with documented requirements.

Participate in the resolution of technical issues and provide technical support to team members.

Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet defined quality standards.

Contribute to delivery outcomes by completing assigned work within agreed timelines, resolving defects, maintaining documentation, and supporting reliable releases.

Identify opportunities to improve development processes, solution performance, operational efficiency, and responsible use of technology resources.
