Job Title: Technical Engineer

The job

This role serves as a Power Systems Consulting Engineer and Solution Architect, delivering expert consulting services to industrial, data center, and semiconductor clients. He will partner closely with sales teams to translate complex customer needs into practical, industry-leading solutions.

Key responsibilities

• •Conduct power system analysis and simulation using ETAP, including load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies for industrial, data center, semiconductor, and renewable energy projects.
• •Prepare professional technical consulting reports that cover analysis results, technical recommendations, and implementation plans with accuracy and clarity.
• •Lead pre-sales technical activities, including solution proposal development and competitive analysis to drive opportunity conversion.
• •Design end-to-end ETAP power system solutions for key sectors such as data centers, semiconductor, new energy, and petrochemical, aligning ETAP product capabilities with customer business needs.

Essential requirements

• •Bachelor's degree or above in Power System and its Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• •Solid theoretical foundation in power systems, with working knowledge of power system analysis, relay protection, and power quality.
• •Hands-on experience with power system simulation software, applied on real project work.
• •Familiarity with relevant power industry standards including IEC, IEEE, and GB, with demonstrated modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities.
• •Good English listening and speaking skills for technical communication, meetings, and presentations with international customers.

Desired skills

• •Registered Professional Electrical Engineer certification — an Impact-oriented qualification that strengthens customer trust.
• •Working knowledge of additional power system simulation tools such as DIgSILENT, PSS/E, or SKM — reflects curiosity across the engineering ecosystem.
• •Prior experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture, with the aspiration to grow into a senior solution leadership role.
• •Strong problem-solving, and communication skills; responsible, resilient under pressure, and willing to travel for short-duration assignments.
