Job Description

The IT Software Engineer is a key member of our IT Engineering team. This role is responsible for translating system requirements and user stories into a robust supportable design of code for the product or application. The IT Software Engineer will develop and test code to ensure it functions as designed and will implement code across the software development life cycle steps preferring CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Translate system requirements and user stories into a robust supportable design of code for the product or application.
• •Develop and test code to ensure it functions as designed.
• •Implement code across the software development life cycle steps preferring CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration.
• •Work closely with product and operations teams for systems/services the software integrates with.
• •Play a role in architecture design of the application where applicable/appropriate.

Job Qualifications

• •Architectural mindset with a product and user-focused approach.
• •Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
• •Knowledge of software development principles and application architecture.
• •Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software testing practices.
• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• •Exposure to React, frontend development, GCP, full-stack development, or AI-assisted coding is a plus.
• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
