• Job Summary:
• We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Platform Engineer to drive the development of our Gen AI for Healthcare SaaS platform. As a key member of our early engineering team, you'll be responsible for shaping the architecture, leading the engineering efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of our cutting-edge healthcare AI solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement the overall architecture of our AI SaaS platform

Lead the development of core platform services and ensure their seamless integration

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices

Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive technical documentation

Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Actively contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

Proven experience as a Technical Lead responsible for directing the work of others

Production experience at scale of a generative ai application or platform

Expert proficiency in Python and solid skills in typeScript or Java as well as some experience in a modern compiled language such as Go or Rust

Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

Expert experience in one of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)

Expert in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools

Strong familiarity with scaling tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Able to work on site in our amazing offices in Palo Alto 3 days per week (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided daily)

Desirable Skills:

8+ years of relevant industry experience

Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Some experience with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)

Significant experience with GCP in particular

Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js)

Previous experience in the healthcare industry

Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is up to $300,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
