Technical Operator

The Technical Operator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the GEA Pharma Solids Center (GPSC) test facilities. The role ensures that equipment, utilities, materials and work areas are prepared and maintained for customer trials, demonstrations and internal activities.

The position supports Process Specialists, Test Center Technicians and Cleaning Operators by carrying out operational, logistics and housekeeping activities that ensure the test center runs efficiently, safely and professionally.

The official place of deployment is Wommelgem, Belgium. The successful candidate is expected to work regularly at the Halle Test Center

Responsibilities / Tasks

• •Prepare and dismantle equipment for customer trials and demonstrations.
• •Clean process equipment and testing facilities.
• •Support technicians with routine maintenance activities.
• •Receive, move and organize materials, consumables and spare parts.
• •Perform stock counts and warehouse activities.
• •Support shipments and internal transport of equipment.
• •Assist Process Specialists during trials and demonstrations.
• •Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• •Technical education or relevant practical experience.
• •Hands-on mentality and strong work ethic.
• •Experience in an industrial, logistics, warehouse or production environment..
• •Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• •Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
• •Dutch language skills and basic English.
• •Willingness to work regularly in Halle (50-60%) during the coming years.
