We’re a leading business management solution with a core purpose: helping more businesses in Australia and New Zealand start, survive and succeed.

At MYOB, we believe what’s good for one business is good for all business—and for all of us. Whether you support them, work for them, or dream of building your own, when businesses run smoothly, everybody feels it. Owners, employees, customers, suppliers—even families. That’s why we’re here: to give every person in business the tools they need to focus on what really matters and do Big Things—whatever big looks like for them.

And for you? Joining MYOB means being part of that impact. It means using your skills to help businesses thrive, shaping the future of work, and growing alongside the people and communities we support. Because while we’re the business of software, we’re really in the business of people. And that makes MYOB Everyone’s Business.

About the role

This role resides in the Reliability & Security function at MYOB which owns the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), which their customers, the MYOB engineering teams, use as their default choice to build and operate software.

You will craft the IDP strategy and product roadmap, whilst driving its adoption across MYOB. The IDP consists of various platform products built using a foundation of SaaS software and customised for MYOB use cases. It covers a diverse range of domains and capabilities such as:

Security (CNAPP)

Cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)

CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)

Observability and production reliability

Kubernetes for application hosting

To be successful in this role, you will build positive relationships with technical and engineering leaders and engage with them regularly to understand their challenges. You will use these relationships to drive change when needed and dive into the technical detail to understand current and emerging needs, enabling you to champion the end-to-end developer experience.

The skills you'll need

Proven leadership in developing product roadmaps and strategy, driving prioritisation and decision making, translating customer needs into product requirements.

Clear and effective communication with technical audiences, discerning new needs and identifying common themes, able to ideate and validate potential solutions.

Good understanding of modern software and DevOps engineering practices, cloud and platform technologies.

Curiosity about new technologies and willingness to learn, particularly about AI and its impact on developer workflows.

Ability to work across multiple products, teams, or domains simultaneously, and be self-directed in identifying where to focus.

It will be a bonus to have experience in:

Platform teams who have adopted product-thinking and developer experience concepts

Hands on platform engineering experience
