Technical Program Manager , Leo Secure Communications

• Key job responsibilities
• - Manage technology programs end-to-end, owning the overall schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and keeping scope under control to deliver on time and with quality.
• - Partner with engineering managers and technical teams to scope efforts, set milestones, secure resources, and drive crisp decisions that clear blockers and accelerate progress.
• - Develop a deep understanding of system architecture, dependencies, and trade-offs to prevent poor technology decisions and arrange additional technical reviews when complexity or risk warrants it.
• - Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders across teams, ensuring alignment and driving resolution when priorities or perspectives conflict.
• - Define and track success metrics for your programs, contribute to strategic documentation, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and system quality over time.

• A day in the life
• You start your morning reviewing program dashboards and triaging any overnight issues that could affect delivery timelines. By mid-morning, you are in design reviews with engineers, asking clarifying questions about dependencies and proposing adjustments to keep the project on track. Afternoons often involve syncing with partner teams, drafting status updates for leadership, or facilitating working sessions to resolve open technical questions. You close the day by updating your risk log and planning next steps to keep momentum.

Basic qualifications

• - 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
• - 2+ years of software development experience
• - 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred qualifications

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
