Terminal Assistant

Drive terminal operations by efficiently managing company van transportation and executing essential maintenance and facility tasks.

Essential Job Functions

Operate company van to transport drivers to designated locations (motels, bus stations, truck stops, airports).

Retrieve supplies for terminal staff.

Perform janitorial tasks (sweeping, vacuuming, washing, dusting, mopping) in terminal areas (break rooms, offices, showers, guardhouse, bathrooms).

Collect and dispose of office trash.

Clean and prepare trucks, removing and storing driver belongings as needed.

Conduct general facility maintenance .

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Familiarity with metro area locations.

Basic electrical and plumbing repair knowledge.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Preferably, 1-2 years of general maintenance experience.
