Termite Technician

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for day-to-day operations of termite control route.

· Maintain production and utilization standards.

· Inspect, diagnose and discuss the scope of services recommended to the customer based on findings. Provide education about the prevention of termites.

· Apply termiticides to pre- and post- construction structures according to specifications, safety procedures and label instructions.

· Communicate with customers regarding services provided, answer any questions they have and look for opportunities to cross-sell additional services.

· Complete all required production documentation in Pest Pac.

· Adhere to all safety protocols related to the position including but not limited to wearing all required and OSHA compliant personal protective equipment and respirator.

· Responsible for maintaining clean and proper working tools. Perform weekly inspections and report any incidents of damage to supervisors.

· Follow all Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS) regulations related to applications of pesticides, securing product to prevent hazardous exposure to others.

· Follow all Turner Pest Control incident reporting policy related to vehicle accidents, workplace injury, property damage and hazardous materials accidents.

· Maintaining an 85% or higher quality assurance and driver score.

Requirements:

· Minimum age of 19 years of age.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Clean driving record for vehicle insurability.

· Complete all required training to obtain and maintain FDACS ID Card Holder.

· QualityPro Certification within the first 90 days of employment.

· Certified FDACS Operator License (Preferred)

· Certified Pest Control Technician (Preferred)
