Theater Box Office Work Study Assistant

Assist in Box Office and with script materials for faculty courses

• Location: Yulman Theater
• Supervisor: Brittney Belz

• Work Available: Days, Nights & Weekends
• Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates the Box Office during Box Office hours and before each show.

Responsible for opening and closing the Box Office for each Theatre & Dance production.

Answers the phone, takes messages, and sells tickets.

Uses Eventbrite.com, card swipe, credit card machine, and handles cash.

Other tasks include, updating Box Office phone message and creating/distributing theater signage.

Assisting with special projects that may involve typing, printing, copying, and research.

Working some evenings and weekends required.

Keeps the Box Office clean and organized.

Works as an Usher, House Manager or in the Box Office on the night of performances.

Assist with script materials for faculty courses

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette

Customer service skills/experience a plus

Photoshop or Canva knowledge a plus
