Transport Manager

What You Can Expect :

• •Manage Domestics Transport Operation
• •Design tailor made strategies for transportation and implement them successfully
• •Receive specific product requirements, safety norms, vehicle type preferred, etc (specific to trucking)
• •Arrive at the right solution for transport and distribution in conjunction with business so as to arrive at the minimum cost at the same time ensuring required service levels specific to each business
• •Verify adherence of practice to the SOP & create/modify as appropriate
• •Monitor and drive team Data and Documentation Controller
• •Prepare & maintain operational contingency plan
• •Continuously improving processes, procedures to heighten productivity, timeliness and quality
• •Maintain relations & conduct regular review meetings with Internal and External Stakeholders

What You Bring:

• •Able to understand financial report and budgeting
• •Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel, and PowerPoint.
• •Basic understanding in GPS and TMS systems.
• •Strong in issue analysis and problem-solving skill
• •Knowledge of transport law and regulations
• •Able to read, write and speak English
• •Able and willing to lead a multi-disciplinary team and have the ambition to develop team members and other colleagues.
• •Can-do mentality and positive attitude.
• •Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
• •Strong ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business and customer organizations
• •Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• •Able to work under pressure and self-motivation
• •Able to travel up country
