Traveling Foreman – Civil Construction

Our Civil Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Foreman to join our team. This role supports civil construction operations only and is best suited for a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to self-perform work.

We are an IBEW contractor ; however, this is not a lineman position , and no electrical work is performed .

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support field crew members, including carpenters and laborers, while assisting with overall project operations

Support site leadership in executing daily work activities safely and efficiently

Assist with project site logistics planning and work closely with the Project Manager on construction methods and sequencing

Coordinate daily work plans, labor, and equipment needs

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors

Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations

Coordinate with supervisory staff, engineers, and inspectors to resolve construction challenges and improve work methods

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of related experience on large-scale civil, transmission, energy, or similar construction projects

Proven self-perform experience in civil construction

Strong leadership and crew supervision skills

Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus

OSHA 30-hour Card preferred

IBEW membership required

Additional Information

Work includes concrete flatwork for substations, drilled shafts, and general civil and infrastructure projects

Employment is subject to the terms of the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement
