Services Controller is the part of Citi Finance organization, primarily responsible for controlling Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Expense of Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business as well as ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial systems . We work closely across functions to help the business execute their strategies by providing meaningful insight into their financial results .

What do we do as a Team?

Perform controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of TTS financial statements for Asia clusters (14 countries)

Provide analytical insights to business partners on any financial related queries

Participate in system transformation , control and reporting improvement projects

What will you do as a Controller?

Perform daily and monthly controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of TTS financial statements

Detect, investigate, and resolve any anomalies in the financial ledger, incorrect bookings, significant Month-over-Month/Quarter-over-Quarter/Year-over-Year variances

Escalate any material events to avoid misreporting in Citi financial books

Work collaboratively across functions, including Business, Finance, Operations & Technology and Risk

Coordinate remediation of recurring issues and control improvements through process and system enhancement projects and digital transformation

Make sure that our processes and tools are safe from risk standpoint by performing regular reviews and implementing necessary changes

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What do we expect from a Controller?

2-5 years of relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written English

Understanding of Financial and Accounting concepts

Controller mind-set and process improvement drive

Strong data analysis skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must. Business Intelligence experience (Power BI, Tableau) will be an advantage

Self-motivated and detail oriented
