Job Details:

Pay is $26.20 PLUS $2.00 shift differential.

MUST have a valid State Driver's License. Motor Vehicle Requirement (18 years of age, valid state driver's license, and no DUI/DWI’s within the last 12 months).

Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.

Diesel Mechanic

This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Team members perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and complete repairs while adhering to company safety and maintenance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspensions, and related components.
• •Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• •Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
• •Utilize diagnostic equipment and testing tools to identify vehicle and equipment issues.
• •Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure compliance with company, DOT, and safety requirements.
• •Replace defective parts and components while maintaining quality workmanship standards.
• •Complete maintenance records, repair documentation, and work orders accurately.
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• •Follow all company safety, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
• •Assist with emergency repairs and equipment breakdowns as needed.
• •Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• •Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, parts, and equipment, frequently weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• •Ability to use hands and arms for repetitive motions, grasping, and tool operation.
• •Ability to work in varying temperatures, noise levels, and shop or outdoor environments.
• •Ability to climb ladders and access elevated work areas when necessary.
