Underwriting Assistant - Temporary

Data processing and manipulation within underwriting tools.

Assist with, data analysis and other quantitative exercises which inform the portfolio management process whilst assisting in maintaining internal exposure monitoring systems.

Ability to learn and understand complex coverage and contract language.

Assist the underwriters with maintaining underwriting files and support with contract documentation.

Compilation of underwriting referral documents and note taking.

Attend client and broker underwriting meetings where requested.

Preparation of presentations and report running.

Assist in the development, testing and maintenance of in-house software applications.

Adhere to operational standards of the department set by underwriting guidelines and authorities.

Carry out claims capture and reporting duties.

Other duties as may be assigned.
