At Julius Baer, we celebrate and value the individual qualities you bring, enabling you to be impactful, to be entrepreneurial, to be empowered, and to create value beyond wealth. Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.
Kick-start your career with Julius Baer’s Graduate Programme – April 2027
Are you about to complete your master’s degree or recently graduated and ready to turn ambition into impact? At Julius Baer, we empower graduates to shape the future of wealth management.
Our 18-month Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential through three dynamic rotations, including an international assignment. You’ll gain hands-on experience, build a global network, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.
Your team
- As part of Region Western Markets & Switzerland, you will join the ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNWI) team. The team serves multi-generational families and entrepreneurs in an international environment, where relationships require long-term continuity and trust.
- Given the complexity of UHNWI needs, the team coordinates bespoke structures rather than relying solely on standardised products.
- To deliver these solutions, they draw on internal and external experts across tax, legal, trading, alternative investments, and structured finance to address the full spectrum of client needs.
- Underpinning all of this is the Swiss banking tradition of discretion and service excellence; UHNWI teams are trained to handle sensitive family and financial matters with the utmost professionalism and privacy.
What’s in it for you?
- - Tailored career path: Develop expertise in your chosen field while growing personally and professionally
- - Global perspective: Gain international experience and work with diverse teams
- - Community & mentorship: Learn from industry leaders and peers and build a strong network
- - Impactful work: Contribute to projects that make a real difference from day one
YOUR CHALLENGE
During the programme, you will assist Relationship Managers in their daily tasks and specifically be responsible for:
Opening, servicing, and maintaining client accounts, and ensuring client data remains accurate and up to date
Coordinating the client onboarding process, collecting required documentation, and supporting compliance with know-your-client (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) requirements
Supporting the team in preparing client and prospect meeting documents, investment proposals across all asset classes, and ad-hoc analyses
Transaction execution and follow-up: Processing client instructions, tracking pending transactions, and resolving operational issues with relevant internal teams
Acting as a secondary contact for day-to-day client enquiries and providing general account-related information
Preparing client reports and presentations, portfolio statements, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and instructions
Liaising with operational, compliance, legal, and product teams to ensure smooth and timely service delivery
YOUR PROFILE
Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades (graduated within the last 12 months)

Passion for client engagement, relationship building, and holistic wealth management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a global mindset
