Essential Functions:

• •Provides direct patient care to patient under direction of the RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care.
• •Provides necessary skills to assist the patient with safe transfers and ambulation per the Hospice policy.
• •Provides necessary skill to appropriately report changes and document pertinent information and care rendered to
• •patient to ensure continuity of care.
• •Practices accepted infection control principles. Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• •Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
• •Provides an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy, and property.
• •Provides skills necessary to assist the patient with proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake.
• •Contributes to the management and efficient operation of the Hospice and demonstrate effective time management skills.
• •Provides skills necessary to perform treatments and procedures according to the Hospice policy.
• •Promotes the Hospice philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.

Requirements

• •Current CNA certification in Texas.
• •Proven experience in hospice or senior care preferred.
• •Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• •A kind and patient demeanor with a commitment to providing dignified care.

Payrate: $20 per hour / $25 per visit
