As a Software developer at Cloud Energy Software, you will work alongside Software Developers, Senior Software Developers, Architects, QA Team and Project Managers to apply your experience, best practices, to develop scalable applications.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Development Support professional to join our team. You will be supporting an existing set of applications in the UK utilities and billing space. It is a challenging opportunity that requires you to quickly grasp the energy and utilities domain while allowing you to showcase your efficiency, problem solving skills and ability to develop additional features on complex systems without causing downtimes or failures across related areas of system.

You will be responsible for maintaining these set of applications, debug issues, develop and deploy fixes as per standards.

Who you are:

Minimum 3+ years of development experience in VB.Net

Expertise in developing windows based applications using VB.Net and SQL Database.

Good knowledge of XML and financial experience

Experience in Utilities billing and EDI is desirable

Have passion for solving problems, ability to comprehend issues in large complex system.

Strong fundamental understanding of software development concepts and mainly .NET platform, APIs.
