We're looking for our next Verification Engineer to join the Verification and Streaming team within the Custom Engineering organisation at Cytiva's site in Uppsala. As a Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing functional verification activities for custom hardware products and systems developed to meet specific customer requirements.

You will work closely with project managers, design engineers, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure products are verified against specifications and delivered with the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position offers a combination of hands-on testing, technical problem-solving, documentation, and customer interaction.

This position is based in Uppsala, Sweden and is an onsite role .

What You'll Do

• •Plan, coordinate, and execute functional verification and validation activities for custom-engineered hardware products and systems.
• •Develop, review, and maintain verification plans, test protocols, test procedures, and test reports.
• •Evaluate, review, approve, and challenge test results to ensure compliance with design requirements, customer specifications, and applicable standards.
• •Perform peer reviews of verification documentation and support continuous improvement of verification processes and test methods.
• •Investigate test failures, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• •Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project execution.
• •Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and participate in technical discussions with customers.
• •Contribute to the development and improvement of verification methods, test equipment, work instructions, and procedures.
• •Ensure verification activities are performed in accordance with Cytiva's quality management system, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• •Maintain accurate and complete records of verification activities and test results.

Who You Are

• •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Biotechnology Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• •Strong technical aptitude and interest in testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• •Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
• •Experience with technical documentation and report writing.
• •Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• •Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience in product verification, validation, testing, commissioning, or a similar technical role.
• •Experience working with custom-engineered equipment, process systems, or industrial products.
• •Familiarity with quality management systems and regulated environments.
• •Experience supporting customer-facing activities such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), or commissioning activities.
• •Knowledge of verification and validation methodologies within life sciences, biotechnology, medical technology, or process engineering industries.
