Verification Engineer

If you are passionate about electromechanical devices and bring three to five years of experience in Verification Testing, please join our R&D team and ensure our medical devices meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

You’ll play a key role in verifying the functionality and performance and driving product quality across interdisciplinary development projects.

We are seeking a Verification Engineer R&D to join our team.

Your responsibilities

• •Accountable for system and sub-system level verification, ensuring alignment with system architecture, interface specifications, and product requirements.
• •Define and own Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies, including creation of V&V Plans and Reports, test case review, SOPs, and test documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• •Responsible for planning and conducting verification and testing, including engineering test protocols, verification protocols, and system acceptance testing.
• •Conduct and software integration testing and verify interoperability within a system-of-systems framework.
• •Analyze verification data, apply statistical methods, and prepare detailed documentation for regulatory submissions, ensuring precision, reliability, and compliance with standards.
• •Coordinate and lead investigations during Verification and Validation, including anomaly resolution, damage analysis, and test method validation.
• •Contribute to the verification of cloud-connected and IoT-enabled features as required by product needs.
• •Collaborate cross-functionally with System Architects (SA) and R&D engineers to define core requirements, approve deviations, and support SA in system decomposition into subsystems and components for detailed analysis and effective testing.
• •Act as technical project leader for verification, guiding the team, and own overall verification status.

Your skills

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, e.g. Software, Computer Science, Biomedical, Electrical, or related fields.
• •3–5 years’ experience in verification testing of electromechanical devices within medical product development.
• •Experience with programming language, ideally Python. Familiar with Git and LabView.
• •Solid understanding of the fundamentals of verification, of product requirements and relationship to user needs as well as (micro)-architectures, of the use cases, and of the business requirements
• •Operational knowledge of medical technology, including applicable standards and cross-functional disciplines within the medical device industry.General understanding of physics principles, e.g. vacuum technology and acoustics.
• •Fluent in English (C1-C2), German is an asset.
