We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about animal care and dedicated to providing outstanding service to pets and their families. If you're an experienced Veterinary Assistant who loves their work, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Patient Care & Support

• •Provide food, water, comfort, and daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients
• •Safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
• •Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the veterinary team
• •Assist with treatment administration and patient recovery

Responsibilities

• •Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with exams, treatments, procedures, and surgical preparation
• •Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
• •Perform basic laboratory tasks and sample preparation
• •Administer medications and treatments as directed
• •Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs

Hospital Operations

• •Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
• •Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, exam rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces
• •Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• •Support smooth hospital operations as we establish workflows and processes for reopening

Client Service

• •Provide exceptional client communication and education
• •Help create a welcoming experience for pets and their families
• •Support the front desk and client flow as needed
• •Build lasting relationships with clients through compassion and professionalism

Requirements

• •1-2 years' experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician
• •Veterinary Assistant certification is welcomed but not required
• •High school diploma or equivalent required
• •Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Work Environment

This position involves working closely with animals in a veterinary hospital setting. Team members may be exposed to animal dander, odors, noise, cleaning products, medical sharps, bodily fluids, anesthetic gases, and potentially aggressive or fearful animals. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and safely handling animals throughout the workday.
