About the Role
The Client Relationship Management (CRM) team sits within MSIM’s Distribution division and plays a core role in the support of client relationships across the full lifecycle — from onboarding through to ongoing servicing and engagement. The team collaborates with clients and internal partners to anticipate client needs, solve challenges, and unlock the firm’s full capabilities to help them achieve their investment goals.
We are seeking to hire a Melbourne based Vice President to work in close partnership with the existing team member, to whom the successful candidate will report. The individual will serve as a trusted partner to the Australasia Sales team, helping to deepen and support key client relationships across the region.
The role is highly collaborative and client-facing, requiring close proximity to local Sales colleagues and clients, a strong understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements, and the ability to support complex client needs across segregated mandates, pooled vehicles and multiple asset classes (public and private markets).
This opportunity provides exposure to all aspects of MSIM’s business, and the successful individual will gain access to the full range of MSIM functional teams and business leads, including Investment Teams, Distribution, Legal & Compliance, Operations and Senior Management. It is an excellent front line opportunity to join a successful team at the centre of servicing MSIM clients whilst gaining exposure to the full remit of MSIM’s products and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
All aspects of servicing client relationships throughout the client lifecycle including participation in pitch and due diligence meetings, client onboarding, portfolio review meetings and the resolution of daily questions and queries
Internal stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organisation, with all levels of seniority

Facilitating client AML and KYC reviews and all other regulatory requirements, working closely with Compliance, Financial Crimes and the CRM Governance team
Involvement with client facing projects, regulatory events and change management, including undertaking client impact assessments and managing client communications
Ownership for driving global best practice across the client service organisation
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
Direct experience in managing client relationships with a minimum of 3-5 years working in investment management or a related financial services organisation

Strong product knowledge with an understanding of different asset classes and investment vehicles
Clear understanding of the regulatory environment and ability to apply this to individual client situations and relationships
