Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible for pitching, pricing and executing new bond and issue transactions

-Responsible for evaluating, trading and managing credit risk and associated hedge positions

-Uphold the Bank’s Compliance policies

-Maintain internal and external key business relationships

-Regularly present to high level clients in a professional and confident manner

-Understand and interpret market trends and identify, communicate and market trade ideas

Requirements:

1.Education Qualification: Degree holder in Economics or Finance or related disciplines.

2.Working Experiences: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience debt origination / trading / front-office / debt capital markets and new issue syndicate with banks.

• 3.Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / License:
• Possess the required qualifications and license under SFC for dealing in securities and advising on securities.

• 4.Business Knowledge
• •Knowledge in debt capital/bond markets, credit environment.
• •Experience in pricing a variety of instruments, interest rates and cross-currency swaps, forwards and futures.
• •Knowledge on HKMA guidelines and relevant regulatory framework.
