Provide first-line risk and compliance advice and support to business lines in Global Markets division with focus on front-office activities including FX, OTC Derivatives and Treasury

Identify changes in regulations which may impact Global Markets’ compliance policies and procedures

Identify potential risks and propose controls to manage and mitigate risks to provide advisory and support to Global Market business in strengthening first line of defense.

Ensure proper documentation and updating of compliance policies and procedures and provide training on new regulations and policies

First point of contact for internal, external auditors and regulators relating to the division.

Reporting to HO on status of market compliance initiatives

Implementation of Head Office rules and controls

Coordinate review, identification, assessment and mitigation of business, front operations and regulatory risks (eg RCSA)

Manage and review dealing and operations incidents

Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor Degree

Possesses practical trading or sales experience in foreign exchange and OTC derivatives products/structures

Minimum 7 years of working experience in market compliance preferably in coverage of Global Markets activities such as FX, OTC Derivatives, cross-border marketing, licensing, trade reporting and new products assessments

Minimum 10 years of experience working in the financial sector

Strong understanding of market dynamics and global financial markets

Possesses solid knowledge of market trends and developments

Strong working knowledge in both local and international/extra-territorial regulations

Ability to manage stakeholders and provide advisory to support departments in Global Markets

Strong communication skills with ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes, and recommendations.

Proficient with Microsoft 365.
