Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form user-generated content for platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.
  • Transform raw UGC footage into engaging, polished, platform-ready videos.
  • Apply clean cuts, pacing, transitions, captions, music, and other editing elements where appropriate.
  • Adapt edits to different short-form formats, aspect ratios, and audience expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand creative direction and incorporate feedback efficiently.
  • Organize source files and deliver final videos on time.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of practical experience in video editing.
  • Strong short-form editing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Comfort working with UGC content and tailoring edits for social media.
  • Proficiency with suitable editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple's video-editing tools, Filmora, CapCut, or equivalent platforms.
  • Good understanding of pacing, composition, audio, captions, and attention-grabbing openings.
  • Open to high school students, college students, and freshers with relevant editing experience.
  • Ability to work remotely, communicate clearly, and respond constructively to feedback.
