About the Role We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk & Insurance Coordinator to manage the daily administrative operations of a general dentistry practice.

The ideal candidate must have substantial dental front-office experience, strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing, and hands-on experience with Eaglesoft.

This role requires excellent English communication skills, the ability to handle patient calls professionally, and the confidence to manage scheduling, insurance verification, claims, billing, and patient follow-ups independently.

This is not an entry-level receptionist position. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal training.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls professionally.
  • Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and manage appointments in Eaglesoft.
  • Fill schedule gaps and manage same-day cancellations.
  • Manage patient recalls, reactivation lists, and unscheduled treatment follow-ups.
  • Verify dental insurance benefits, including deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, and coverage limitations.
  • Enter insurance information and benefit details accurately into Eaglesoft.
  • Prepare treatment estimates and explain patient financial responsibilities.
  • Submit predeterminations, pre-authorizations, and dental insurance claims.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, rejections, and insurance A/R.
  • Post insurance payments, EOBs, EFTs, and patient payments accurately.
  • Manage patient balances, collections, statements, and payment follow-ups.
  • Support treatment-plan follow-ups and improve case acceptance.
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and billing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist with PPO credentialing and insurance contracting follow-ups when required.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in dental front-office administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Eaglesoft dental practice management software.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, CDT codes, and treatment sequencing.
  • Experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing.
  • Experience with insurance A/R, payment posting, and patient collections.
  • Strong scheduling and treatment coordination skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to handle patient calls confidently and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and willingness to sign a BAA.
  • Reliable internet, professional headset, and secure workstation.
  • Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Candidates with experience as a Dental Front Office Manager, Dental Insurance Coordinator, Dental Treatment Coordinator, or Dental Billing Specialist are encouraged to apply.
