Responsibilities:
- Install, qualify, and maintain automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
- Apply AI technologies to semiconductor product visual inspection.
- Improve product appearance and reduce visual defects.
- Monitor visual inspection yield and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and optimize rule-based inspection recipes.
- Deploy visual inspection systems and best practices to overseas sites.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and equipment suppliers.
Expected Background:
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, visual inspection, or equipment engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent Japanese communication skills.
- Basic English communication skills for emails, documents, and online meetings.
Expected Skill:
- Mandatory experience implementing automated visual inspection using rule-based methods.
- Mandatory experience applying AI to visual inspection.
- Experience with AOI system installation, qualification, and recipe development.
- Experience analyzing inspection data and improving yield.
- Experience deploying systems or processes across multiple manufacturing sites is preferred.
- Experience with Python, image processing, machine learning, or data analysis is preferred.
