Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed.

Patrols precinct to deter crime.

Assists public within scope of authority.

Secures and preserves crime scenes.

May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED.

Basic TCOLE certification.

Two (2) years of full-time or 2 years reserve deputy/officer job-related work experience is required.

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.

Valid Texas Driver License.

Firearms proficiency.

This is a Volunteer Position - No Salary - No Benefits are included
