Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Business Unit Specialist to join the AML/KYC 2.0 Transformation program. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of AML/KYC capabilities in GR, ensuring they meet business needs and regulatory requirements across the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. This role requires a strong Business Analyst skill set, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive product vision and execution.

Job Responsibilities

To work closely with the AML/KYC Program Manager to deliver the program objective of implementing best in class regional capabilities & operating model for AML/ KYC in GR, through

Product Vision and Strategy:

• •Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for AML/KYC solutions.
• •Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned with business goals, customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• •Act as a key point of contact between business units and technology for AML/KYC solutions.
• •Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders across Technology & Operations (T&O), Compliance, Risk & Control, Customer segment and Middle Office teams etc. to gather input, provide updates, and ensure alignment.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• •Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for AML/KYC capabilities.
• •Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.

Product Development and Implementation:

• •Work closely with T&O teams to design, build, manage risks/issues and deploy AML/KYC solutions.
• •Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry best practices and regulations.
• •Work with Testing team to translate business requirements to test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• •Analyze AML/KYC data to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats.
• •Utilize data insights to inform product decisions and enhance AML/KYC strategies.

Target opening model (TOM), training and drive adoption

• •Define and document to-be business processes and TOM.
• •Conduct training sessions for business users on new AML/KYC capabilities.
• •Work with stakeholders to drive adoption and track effectiveness

Regulatory Compliance:

• •Ensure all product activities comply with relevant regulations and Group Compliance policies.
• •Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on AML/KYC practices.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Banking / Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• •Minimum 8 years of Banking / Financial services experience, preferably in a similar capacity
• •Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst/ Product Owner (PO) experience, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• •Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital products/features from conception to launch.
• •Good knowledge of banking and financial services AML/KYC regulations & policy
• •Strong stakeholder management experience demonstrated in prior roles
• •Possess creativity, and self-motivation to identify solutions in an ever-changing regulatory environment
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to positive influence people to make appropriate decisions and resolve conflicts effectively
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• •Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• •Certification in Product Management (e.g. PMP, PSPO) or relevant industry certifications is a plus.
