Business Function
Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a high-value portfolio of corporate clients within the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector.
- Originate, structure, and execute a wide range of corporate banking solutions, including structured finance, debt/equity capital markets, treasury, and transaction banking products.
- Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, financial analysis, and risk evaluations to prepare high-quality credit proposals.
- Collaborate closely with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver customized financial solutions and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify and monitor industry developments, competitive dynamics, technology trends and cross-border investment activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
- Monitor portfolio performance actively, ensuring robust credit risk management and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Drive strategic client engagement and identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships, expand wallet share and strengthen the bank’s position as a trusted financial partner.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate banking or related financial services, with a focus on the TMT sector and preference for candidates with a background in investment banking.
- Deep understanding of corporate banking products, financial markets, and industry trends within Telecommunications, Media, and Technology.
- Strong credit analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and risk assessment expertise.
- Proven track record of business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business units and geographies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong execution capabilities, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions and client priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Investment banking expertise: Strong understanding of M&A, capital markets and corporate finance, with the ability to originate and execute complex transactions.

- TMT industry expertise: Deep sector knowledge and the ability to identify emerging trends, strategic opportunities and potential risks.
- Business development: Strong origination mindset, commercial awareness and ability to expand client coverage and generate sustainable business growth.
- Collaboration and execution: Ability to mobilise internal resources, influence stakeholders and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
