Warehouse Builder

Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities

The work of a Warehouse Builder includes but is not limited to:

• •Follow standard operating procedures and shipment priorities to build cargo for export flights.
• •Forklift experience and ability to work in tight areas with other activity around warehouse.
• •Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure all shipments are properly built for aircraft specifications while maximizing cargo space without damage.
• •Assist with tie-down and push out of completed air pallets.
• •Organization of warehouse areas: reposition cargo, repacking nets, restocking plastic, skids, shrink wrap, and locks.
• •Maintain security of the cargo and company’s equipment. Observe that cargo has not been tampered with or that pilferage has taken place. Report incidents to supervisor as needed.
• •Maintain work area in clean condition, reporting damaged or broken equipment as needed

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• •Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• •Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, ability to detect inconsistencies in data, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• •Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met.
• •Ability to concentrate on detail and multitask.
• •Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
• •Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• •Must be 18 years of age or older
• •Valid driver’s license
• •High School Diploma or GED required, 1 year of previous experience is preferred
• •Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
• •Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
• •Must be able to lift 50+lbs on a regular basis

• Schedule of Hours
• As an airline services provider, Alliance Ground International requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, etc., Strict adherence to company attendance policies are expected and enforced.

Pay: $23/hr
